Margaret Sergi Acton;71;of Crest Avenue Apartments;Charleroi;died Monday;Oct.30;2000;at 6:30 a.m. in Hudson;Ohio. Born Nov.23;1929;in Belle Vernon;she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Lillian Dugan Sergi. Mrs.Acton was a member of Mary;Mother of the CHurch Parish;Charleroi. She retired in 1990 from Mon Valley Hospital where she served as union president for many years. She spent most of her life in the Charleroi area. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law;Lawrence and Kathy Acton;and grandson Lawrence Jr.of Hudson;Ohio;three brothers;Frank Sergi of Branson;Mo.;Samuel Sergi of Belle Vernon and John Sergi of Monessen;two sisters;Loretta Cooper of Charleroi and Jeannie Neinhouse of Columbus;Ohio;numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents;she was preceded in death by four sisters;Pauline Woodering;Frances Caputo;Kathryn Uhor and Lena Jampetro;and three brothers;James Sergi;Domenic Sergi and David Sergi. Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.
