Marco Tonini;82;of 14 Myers Ave.;Monessen;died Friday;June 18;1976 at 1 a.m. in Monongahela Division of Mon Valley Hospital following a brief illness. Born March 2;1894;in Malcesine;Italy;he had resided in Monessen since 1923. He was a retired employee of the Monessen Plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp.and a member of the NIPA Club of Monessen. He was preceded in death by a son;Douglas;in August 1963. Surviving are his widow;Mrs.Maria Rossi Tonini;two daughters;Mrs.Philip Gerald (Lucy Marie) Ronco of Anchorage;Alaska;and Mrs.Anthony (Florence) DeLuca of Pittsburgh;two sons;Nicholas and Roger;both of Belle Vernon;seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Robert A.Billick Funeral Home Inc.;Grand Blvd.and Marion Ave.;Monessen;from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.Sunday. Services will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home;with Clyde Sieck;Jehovah’s Witnesses minister;in charge. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
