Obituary
Mrs. Maple Adams,43,of 331 Sixth St., Donora,died Tuesday,May 29,1962,at 6:50 p.m. in Charleroi-Monessen Hospital after a lingering illness. She was born in Midway,Ala.,Oct. 5,1918 and had lived in Donora the past 22 years. She was a member of Keystone Temple No.92,Donora. Surviving are her husband,Thomas;two daughters,Mrs. Stelma Palmer of Donora and Mrs. Dorothy Obie of Riverhead,N.Y.; two sisters, Mrs. Mable Jones of Detroit,Mich. and Mrs. Laura Mae Miles of Houston,Texas;two brothers,Clifford Walker of Midway,Ala.and George Walker of Louisville,Ala.and eight grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Percy Law Funeral Home,Donora,after 7 p.m.,May 31. Services on Saturday,June 2,at 11 a.m. in St. Paul Baptist Church,Donora,with the Rev. J.O'Neal officiating. Interment,Belle Vernon Cemetery. Percy Law,Jr.,funeral director.
