Mrs. Malverna Lessman of Charleroi, R.D.1,died in the Charleroi-Monessen hospital,Saturday, January 7,1950,at 3:25 p.m. She was born in Charleroi on July 12,1898,and lived here all her life. She was the daughter of William and Mathilda Maxin Walker. She was a member of the Charleroi First Christian Church. She is survived by her husband, Eugene Lessman, three sons, William R. Jones of Charleroi,Staff Sergeant Charles F. Jones of Fort Knox,Kentucky,and Ernest Farneto of Charleoi; two daughters, Mrs. Eugene Greco and mrs. Cecil Briggs of Charleroi;two brothers, William and John Walker of Charleroi;six sisters, Mrs. William McGinty,Mrs. Carl Rocco of New York,Mrs. Joseph Katinsky,Mrs. George Brounce,Mrs. Walter Kurtz and Grace Schrader of Charleroi and eleven grandchildren. Friends will be received at the late home. Services will be held in the First Christian Church,Wednesday, January 11,1950,at 2 p.m.,in charge of Rev. Roger D. Winger. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Francis C. Slezak is the funeral director.
