Born in McMinnville;Tenn.;in July of 1906;she was a resident of Monessen since 1920. Mrs.Carter was a member of the Wayman A.M.E.Church;Elks Lodge Elite 428;ladies Auxiliary of American Legion Joseph H.Ford Post 691;and Alpha Council No.1. She is survived by five daughters;Mrs.Albert (Wilma) Ward of Gary;Ind.;Mrs.Leroy (Alyce) Ingram;Mrs.Ernest (Johnella) Anderson;Betty Love;Mrs.Livingston (Pat) Kizzie;all of Monessen;four sons;George Love;Willis Love and Bruce Love;all of Detroit;Mich.;Paul Love of Gary;Ind.;two stepchildren;Jean Carter and Melvin Carter;both of Monessen;one sister;Mrs.Anna Jones of Monessen;14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
