Obituary

Mrs.Mabel Thelma James,67,of Lewis Ave.Speers,died today at 12:30 a.m. at her home. A resident of Speers since 1948,Mrs.James was a member of Belle Vernon Church of the Nazarene. She formerly lived in New Eagle. Born in Philadelphia on April 30,1899,she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Lydia (Heish) Alexander. Surviving are her husband,Albert Davis James,two daughters,Mrs. George (Thelma Mae) Flowers of Levittown and Mrs. Clyde (Celia Lydia) Henry of Bentleyville,a brother,Fred,and five sisters,Mrs. Irene Madden,Mrs.Lillian Snyder,Mrs.Violet Roller,Mrs.Caroline Pfieffer and Mrs. Mary McGuire,all of Philadelphia,and three grandchildren. A daughter,Mrs.Pearl Elizabeth Piot died in 1957. Friends will be received at the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home after 7 p.m. May 25 and until 11 a.m. Friday May 27. Service in Church of the Nazarene,Belle Vernon Friday May 27 at 2 p.m. with the Rev.G.Ackinclose.pastor,officiating. Interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Shelby D.Ferguson,funeral director.
