Mabel Johns Black;82;of Route 88;Allenport;died Thursday;April 3;1975;at 11:20 p.m. in Monongahela Division of Mon Valley Hospital following a lengthy illness. She was born March 29;1893;in Pennsylvania;a daughter of the late Richard and Mary Gray Johns. Mrs.Black was a member of Charleroi United Methodist Church and Golden Agers and Iris Rebekah Lodge No.299;also of Charleroi. Surviving are several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received after 7 p.m. on Saturday at the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home;Main St.;Fayette City;where services will be held Monday at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev.Frank A.Bodnar;pastor of Charleroi United Methodist Church;officiating.
