Mabel Beatty,87,of 10679 Convoy Road,Van Wert,Ohio,died Friday,Dec.25,1992,at 7:35 p.m. in Van Wert County Hospital. Born Dec.23,1905,in Charleroi,she was the daughter of the late Ellsworth and Eva Johns Ream. Mrs. Beatty was Presbyterian by faith. She lived in Van Wert since 1972,and was formerly a resident of the Sweeney Plan in Rostraver Township,Belle Vernon and Monessen. In addition to her parents,she was preceded in death by her husband,Milton Beatty,in June 1960,and a brother,Henry Ream. Surviving are two daughters,Mrs. Jack (Carol) Monack of Van Wert,with whom she made her home,and Mrs. Ralph (Jane) Perry of East Patchogue,N.Y.;a brother,Harold Ream of Roscoe;six grandchildren;two step-great-grandchildren;and one step-great-great-granddaughter. Friends will be received Monday from 7 to 9 p.m.and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.700 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon, Services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m.in the funeral home,with the Rev.Joan L. Rousseaux,pastor,Roscoe United Methodist Church,officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.,is handling arrangements.
