Lydia Nelson Beazell of Connellsville Street;Fayette City;died Saturday;Dec.8;1984;at 1 a.m. at her home following a brief illness. She was 80. Mrs.Beazell was born Oct.21;1904;in Fayette City;a daughter of the late Alfred and Margaret Forsland Nelson. She was a member of the Fayette City United Presbyterian Church. In addition to her parents;Mrs.Beazell was preceded in death by her husband;Arthur Beazell;Dec.5;1973. Survivors include a brother;Harry Nelson of Fayette City;a nephew;John C.Nelson of Fayette City;and a niece;Rev.Beth Lynne Nelson of Erie. Friends will be received in the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home;Fayette City; Sunday from noon to 9 p.m.;Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Tuesday;Dec.11 until 11 a.m. at which time services will be held with the Rev.Robert Cromwell;pastor of the Fayette City United Presbyterian Church;officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Howard W.McCory Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
