Obituary

Mrs.Lydia A.Hoffman of Fairhope died at her home,Friday,October 8,1948,at 12:15 a.m.,after a lingering illness. She was born September 22,1877,and was a member of the Marion Presbyterian Church. She is surived by two daughters,Mrs.Mary Stopford of Fairhope,Mrs.Vera Schmidt of Belle Vernon,three sons,Russell of Belle Vernon,Clarence of Belle Vernon,R.D.2,George of Belle Vernon,three brothers,William Guiler of Buffalo,New York,Jacob Guiler of Roscoe,John Guiler of Fairhope,two sisters,Mrs.Edward Breakwell of Fairhope and Mrs.Clare Abbott of Fayette City. Sixteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren also survive. Friends will be received at the Toner Funeral Home. Services will be held three Sunday,October,10,1948,at 1:30 p.m.in charge of Rev.George Guest. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Harold R.Toner is the funeral director.
