Obituary

Lula Laylon Park, 81, of 205 Dubrovich St., Fairhope, Belle Vernon, died Sunday,March 6,1977 at 8:15 p.m. in Charleroi Division of Mon Valley Hospital,following a lengthy illness.Mrs. Park was born in Fayette City on Dec.26,1895, a daughter of the late Allan and Emma Athey Layton. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Park in 1951. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Emma Kennedy of Marion Villa,Belle Vernon,Mrs.Carl (Jennie) Duda of Fairhope,with whom Mrs.Park made her home,and Mrs.Chester (Mabel) Bukoski of Kingman,Ariz.,seven grandchildren,13 great-grandchildren,and two great-great-grandchildren.  Friends will be received in the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home in Fayette City after 2 p.m.on Tuesday,March 8.  Services will be held Thursday,March 10,at 1:30 p.m.,with the Rev.Dr.Allan J.Howes of Pittsburgh,a nephew of Mrs.Park,officiating.  Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.  Howard W.McCrory,funeral director in charge.
