Mrs. Lula Ford Biffle,63,of 1006 Morgan Ave.,Monessen,died Monday, Jan. 16,1961 at 4:30 p.m. in the Charleroi-Monessen Hospital. Mrs. Biffle,wife ot the Rev. E.W. Biffle,who is pastor of Izzard Chapel A.M.E. Church in Maxwell,near Brownsville,was a member of the Wayman A.M.E. Church, Monessen. She was a stewardess in the church and was a member of the Missionary Society of the church and of the American Woodmen Society. Surviving along with her husband is a brother,Seth Webster of Madison, Ill. Friends will be received at the DuBoise Carter Funeral Home,Monessen,after 5 p.m. Jan. 18. Funeral home visiting hours are from 1 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Funeral services will be held Friday,Jan.20,at 1:30 p.m. from the Wayman A.M.E. Church,Monessen,with the Rev. H.S. Anderson officiating. Presiding Elder Thomas will deliver the eulogy. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. DuBoise Carter, funeral director.
