Luigi DeRose;of 413 Delaware St.;Monessen died in Charleroi-Monessen Hospital Wednesday;March 11;1970;at 11:50 p.m. Mr.DeRose was a member of St.Cajetan R.C.Church;Italian Society of Mutual Aid and Sons of Italy;all of Monessen. In 1959 he retired from the blast furnace department of the Monessen Works of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp. He had lived in Monessen since 1915. Surviving are his widow;Maria Merando DeRose;two daughters;Mrs.Violet Livingstone at home and Mrs.Alvera Briguglio of Girard;Ohio;two sons;Ernest T.of Parkersburg;W.Va.;and Louis A.at home;five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren;a sister in Italy. Friends will be received at Raymond D.Dalfonso Funeral Home;Monessen;after 7 p.m.March 12 and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 10 p.m.March 13. Blessing service there Saturday;March 14;at 9:30 a.m.followed by Requiem High Mass in St.Cajetan R.C.Church;Monessen;at 10 a.m. The Rev.John R.Casaliggi;pastor;will officiate.
