Luetta Emerick of Akron, Ohio,formerly of Fayette City,died Saturday, Dec. 24,1983,at 11:45 a.m. at the home of her son,Gerald,in Akron. She was 75. Mrs. Emerick was born May 21,1908,in Washington Twp.,Fayette County,a daughter of the late Theodore and Ella Rowe Biles. She was Protestant by faith. In addition to her parents,Mrs. Emerick was preceded in death by her husband, Albert in 1967,and a son, Charles in 1973. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Philip (Alberta) Palmer of Monessen eight sons, Theodore of Fayette City R.D.1,Orie of Perryopolis,R.D.1,Duwane of Midland,Albert of Perryopolis,John of Belle Vernon R.D.1,Sheridan on New Eagle,Gerald of Akron,Ohio,and Robert of Fayette City,R.D.1; 41 grandchildren,16 great-grandchildren;one sister, Mrs. Dora Secrist of Monongahela and one brother,Theodore Biles of Monongahela. Friends will be received in the Howard W. McCrory Funeral Home,Fayette City,on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Wednesday,Dec. 28,until 11 a.m.,at which time funeral services will be held with the Rev. Mary Howard,pastor of Marion United Presbyterian Church,officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Howard W. McCrory Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
