Obituary

Lucille Eisley Shaw of 126 Sioux Dr.,Ft.Allen,Greensburg,died Friday,May 25,1984,at 9 p.m.in Westmoreland Hospital,Greensburg,following a lingering illness. She was 84. Mrs.Shaw was born Sept.12,1899,in Connellsville,a daughter of the late Charles and Emma Zimmer Eisley. She had resided in Monessen for many years and was a member of the former United Presbyterian Church of Monessen. Mrs.Shaw was preceded in death by her husband,Harry Shaw,by a daughter,Mrs.Marion Bell,by six brothers,Clyde,Roy,Walter,Ralph,Lloyd and Albert Eisley,and by three sisters,Florence Hutchinson,Elsie Gilmore,and Maude Switzer. She currently attended the Christian Missionary Alliance Church of Greensburg. Surviving are one daughter,Mrs.George (Dorothy) Rajala of Monessen,two sons,William Shaw of Fayette City and Russell Shaw of Chicago,Ill.,14 grandchildren,21 great-grandchildren,and three sisters,Mrs.Caoline Boord of Monessen,Mrs.Charles (Ora) Bradley of Lock Four and Mrs.Vira Watson of Monessen. Friends will be received at the Rhome Funeral Home,Inc.,1209 Grand Blvd.,Monessen,Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m.and Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be held Tuesday at 11:30 a.m.in the funeral home,with the Rev.Reinold Schlak,pastor,St.Paul's Lutheran Church,Monessen,officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Rhome Funeral Home,Inc.,is in charge of arrangements.
