Louis William Ambrose Sr.,79,died Wednesday, May 14,1958,at 7:30 p.m. at the home of his son Louis Jr. in Cleveland,Ohio. He was born in Lithuania Aug. 15,1878 and lived in Pricedale until eight years ago when he moved to Cleveland. He retired as an employee of the Somers Mine of the Pittsburgh Coal Co. in 1943. He was preceded in death by his wife on Dec. 1,1944. He is survived by four sons, Joseph,of Cleveland,James of the Panama Canal Zone,Louis Jr. of Cleveland and Lawrence of Cornwall, England;three daughters, Mrs. John (Eleanor) Cheloc of West Newton,Mrs. Myron (Cecilia) Volk of Donora and Mrs. Paul (June) Dregella of Parma,Ohio,16 grandchildren and five great-grandchidlren. Friends are being received at the Ferguson Funeral Home,Broad Ave., Belle Vernon.
