Louis Toth;69;of 1503 Boston Ave.;Monessen;died Friday;April 27;1984;at 12:40 a.m.at his home. Mr.Toth was born in Arnold City July 14;1914;a son of the late Peter and Susan Toth. He had lived in Monessen the past 32 years but spent his previous years in the Belle Vernon area. He was a veteran of World War II;having served with the Army 1st Division in Africa and Italy. He retired from the River Transportation Dept.of Jones and Laughlin Steel Corporation;Hazelwood. He was a member of St.Leonard Catholic Church;Monessen;Disabled American Veterans and American Legion Post 28;Monessen. Surviving are his wife;Helen Tyburski Toth;one daughter;Mrs.James (Marcia) Coccara of Laguna Niguel;Calif.;two brothers;Steve Toth and Peter Toth;both of Belle Vernon;one granddaughter;Dana. Friends are being received at the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home;700 Broad ave.;Belle Vernon;Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m.and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Prayer service will be held at the funeral home Monday at 9:30 a.m.followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m.at St.Leonard Catholic Church;Monessen;with the Rev.Patrick O’Connor officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
