Louis S.Miller Jr.;77;of 1116 Reservoir Ave.;Monessen;died Tuesday;Feb. 24;1976;in Charleroi Division of Mon Valley Hospital. He was born in Pittsburgh on Feb.10;1899;son of the late Louis S.Sr.and Mary Hoffman Miller. He was retired from the Monessen Plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp. Mr.Miller was a life member of the Monessen Volunteer Fire Dept.and Relief Association. He also belonged to the Westmoreland County Firemen’s Association;Western Pennsylvania Firemen’s Association and Southwestern Pennsylvania Chiefs and Assistant Chiefs Association. He was a former member of Christ Lutheran Church. Surviving are his widow;Mrs.Hilda Miller;one daughter;Ruth;at home;one brother;Martin Miller of Belle Vernon;and five sisters;Mrs.Marie Mincks of Monessen;Mrs.Lewis (Elsie) White of Riviera Beach;Fla.;Mrs.Jess (Evelyn) Curnow of North Palm Beach;Fla.;Mrs.Pete (Ruth) Johannesmeyer of Reading and Mrs.Laird (Dorothy) Dickerson of Oak Ridge;Tenn. Funeral arrangements are being made by the Ed Melenyzer Funeral Home;Monessen. The family requests no flowers and no memorial contributions. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
