Louis R.Toth;Fayette City RD 1;died Saturday;Nov.16;1985;at 4:30 a.m.in Mon Valley Hospital. He was 62. Mr.Toth was born in Arnold City on May 30;1923;a son of the late John and Cora Smith Toth. He was a member of the Holy Spirit Catholic Church;Fayette City;the Belle Vernon American Legion and the Washington Twp.Firemen’s Social Club. He was a resident of Fayette City RD 1 (Washington Twp;) the last 23 years. Prior to that;he lived in Belle Vernon. Mr.Toth was employed by Toth Market in Lynnwood the past 20 years. He was a veteran of World War II;having served in the U.S.Army Medical Corps. In addition to his parents;he was preceded in death by his wife;Fortunata Vadella Toth;who died Nov.11;1972;and a brother;Stephen. Survivors include three sons;Louis W.of Fayette City RD 1;Raymond H.of Surfside Beach;S.C.;and John W.at home;a daughter;Angela Toth of Arlington;Va.;five brothers;John W.of Speers Hill;Thomas;Joseph and Clifford of Belle Vernon;and Melvin J.of Fayette City RD 1;and two sisters;Mrs.Dorothy Pierce of Christiansburg;Va.;and Mrs.Margie Frosini of Finleyville. Friends will be received at the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home;700 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;on Monday from 2 to 4 p.m.and 7 to 9 p.m. Prayer services will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday at 10 a.m.;followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. at the Holy Spirit Church with Father Thomas G.Rinn officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Wake services will be held at the funeral home Monday at 7 p.m. Friends who wish to do so may make contributions;in lieu of flowers;to either the American Cancer Society of the Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church of Fayette City. The Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
