Louis (Nonnie) Simpson, 54,of 412 Ninth St.,Monessen,died unexpectedly Friday, Dec.17,1971.at Charleroi-Monesen Hospital. He was born in Belle Vernon Dec. 23,1916,a son of the late Nelson and Ann Josephine Simpson. He was an employee at Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel, Monessen Plant. Surviving are his widow,Marion;one son, Nelson of Donora,one daughter, Mrs. Gloria Donald of Johnstown,four brothers, Nelson Samuel of Seattle,Wash.,Robert of Belle Vernon, Henry of Mt. Pleasant and Dale of Monessen,three sisters, Mrs. Raymond (Hazel) Chilton of Belle Vernon, Mrs. Vincent (Velma) Frazier of Belle Vernon and Mrs. Jack (Betty) Dillard of Belle Vernon and five grandchildren. Friends will be received after 2 p.m. Sunday at the William R. Taylor Funeral Home,Monessen. A service will be held in the Fellowship Baptist Church,Monessen on Tuesday,Dec. 21 at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Kenneth Davis,pastor,in charge. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
