Louis (Luke) Mastronicola;69;of 17 Third St.;Charleroi;died Tuesday;Jan.14;1975;at 6 p.m. in the Waddington Convalescent Home;Fayette City. He was born in New York City on Aug.4;1905;and had lived most of his life in Charleroi. His parents were the late Mathew and Isabelle Angrla Mastronicola. He was retired from the Corning Glass Works;Charleroi. His wife;Violet;preceded him in death in 1970. Surviving are four sons;Arthur of Orlando;Fla.;Norman of Portage;Ind.;Robert of Aurora;Ohio;and Gilbert of North Charleroi;two daughters.Mrs.Frank (Isabell) Zencuch Sr.of Charleroi and Mrs.Harold (JoAnn) Turner of Uniontown;one brother;Frank Mastronicola of New York City;one sister;Mrs.Theodore Clapsis of New York City;13 grandchildren;and one great-grandchild. Friends will be received at the Francis C.Slezak Funeral Home;Charleroi;from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m.Thursday. Blessing services will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 10 a.m. with Msgr.William Maher officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Francis C.Slezak is Funeral director in charge.
