Louis J. Vezzani,724 Graham St.,Belle Vernon died Sunday Jan. 17,1982 at 11 a.m. in Monongahela Valley Hospital Inc.,Carroll Twp. He was 87. Born in Shire Oaks,Pa.,March 30,1894,he was the son of the late Petro and Mary Vezzani. He was a Catholic by faith. Mr. Vezzani was a veteran of World War I,serving with the U. S. Army. He had lived in the Belle Vernon area since 1916. A former employee of American Window Glass Co.,Mr. Vezzani worked at both its Belle Vernon and Jeannette plants. He also was a house painter. Preceding Mr. Vezzani in death were his wife, Clara Thieser Vezzani on Oct. 30,1979, a daughter, Marie in 1923 and sister Lena Pollacci. Survivors include a brother, Oliver Vezzani of Belle Vernon, sister Clara Flory of Denver, Colo.,and several nieces and nephews including Mrs. Carl W. (Joanne) Dunlop of Belle Vernon. Friends are being received at the Shelby D. Ferguson Funeral Home,700 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Shelby D. Ferguson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
