Mr.Griffey was born March 10;1918;in Belle Vernon;a son of the late Allen Griffey and Mary Norris Griffey. Surviving are his wife;Pearl Griffey of Pittsburgh;one daughter;Janet Griffey of New Kensington;two cousins;George and Elizabeth Hill of Monesssen;and a host of other relatives and friends. Friends will be received at the William R.Taylor Funeral Home;645 McMahon Ave.;Monessen;Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of the funeral home;with the Rev.Wilbur Hubbard;pastor;Fellowship Baptist Church;Monessen;officiating.
