Louis C. Cardinale,aged 38 years,542 Bluff street, Belle Vernon,died Monday, Dec. 21,1953,at 9 a.m. at his late home. A veteran of World War II,with the 38th Infantry Division,the deceased had been employed at the Corning Glass Co. plant in Charleroi. Surviving are his wife. Mrs. Jennie Cardinale; a daughter, JoAnn;his parents,Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Cardinale of Charleroi;three sisters, Mrs. Theodore (Connie) Caranella of Long Island,N.Y., Mrs. Ernest (Marie) Rocca of Charleroi and Mrs. Dominick (Stella) Gibino of Dunlevy. Friends are being received at the Toner Funeral Home,Broad avenue, Belle Vernon,where visiting hours are from 1 to 5 and from 7 to 10 p.m. Funeral services will be held Thursday,Dec. 24,at 9:30 a.m. from the St. Sebastian R.C.Church,Belle Vernon,with Rev. Francis Martin officiating at Requiem Mass. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Harold R.Toner,funeral director.
