Obituary

Louis Celaschi, 81,of 98 Prospect Ave.,Charleroi,died in Charleroi-Monessen Hospital on Sunday, Dec. 30,1962 at 3:30 p.m. He was a member of the Mother of Sorrows Church and the Italia-Unita Lodge, both of Charleroi. Mr. Celasci had been a resident of Charleroi since 1916 and was employed in the government boat yard,Lock 4,for 25 years.  He retired in 1946. Surviving are his widow,Inez; four sons,Albert and Pete of Charleroi,Hugo of Allenport and Joseph of Corning, N.Y.; three daughters, Mrs. Frank (Mary) Andreoli of Ellwood City,Mrs. Matthew (Ellen) Cowell of Charleroi and Mrs. Raymond (Norma) Dalfonso of Belle Vernon; twenty-one grandchildren and twenty-five great-grandchildren; two brothers,Joseph of Charleroi and August of Cleveland,Ohio. Friends are being received at the Francis C. Slezak Funeal Home,Charleoi,during hours of 1 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m.until Wednesday when the remains will be taken to the Mother of Sorrows Church,Charleoi,for Requiem High Mass at 10 a.m.  The Rev. J.J. Thomas,pastor,will act as celebrant.  Interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery.  Raymond D. Dalfonso of Monessen, funeral director.
