Louis A.Casteel;61;of 144 Main St.;Belle Vernon;was found dead along a road in Vanderbilt;Saturday;Feb.26;1972;at 8 a.m. State Police in the Uniontown Barracks and the Fayette County Coroner’s office are investigating the death. He was born in Washington Twp.March 16;1910;a son of the late Emanuel and Hester Baker Casteel. He was a retired coal miner. Surviving are six sisters;Mrs.Davie (Ada) Usher of Fayette City;Mrs.Steve (Elizabeth) Luketic of McKeesport;Mrs.Casimer (Mazette) Naspinsky of McKeesport;Mrs.Dominick (Della) Pro of Belle Vernon;Mrs.William (Stella) Granlund of Clarksburg;W.Va.and Mrs.Edmund (Freda) Martin of Belle Vernon. Friends will be received at the Ferguson Funeral Home;700 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;where a service will be held Tuesday;Feb.29;at 1:30 p.m.with Dr.S.Arthur Talman of the First Presbyterian Church of Belle Vernon officiating.
