Obituary

Louis A.Casteel,61,of 144 Main St.,Belle Vernon,was found dead along a road in Vanderbilt,Saturday,Feb.26,1972,at 8 a.m. State Police in the Uniontown Barracks and the Fayette County Coroner's office are investigating the death. He was born in Washington Twp.March 16,1910,a son of the late Emanuel and Hester Baker Casteel. He was a retired coal miner. Surviving are six sisters,Mrs.Davie (Ada) Usher of Fayette City,Mrs.Steve (Elizabeth) Luketic of McKeesport,Mrs.Casimer (Mazette) Naspinsky of McKeesport,Mrs.Dominick (Della) Pro of Belle Vernon,Mrs.William (Stella) Granlund of Clarksburg,W.Va.and Mrs.Edmund (Freda) Martin of Belle Vernon. Friends will be received at the Ferguson Funeral Home,700 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon,where a service will be held Tuesday,Feb.29,at 1:30 p.m.with Dr.S.Arthur Talman of the First Presbyterian Church of Belle Vernon officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Shelby D.Ferguson,funeral director.
