He was born in Belle Vernon January 13;1915 and had resided in Monessen for the past 20 years. He was a member of the Wayman A.M.E.Church. He was a World War II veteran;having served in the U.S.Army. He is survived by his mother;Mrs.Lillian Saunders McGrain;step-father;Morris McGrain;two brothers;Orvell and Harold;four sisters;Mrs.Helen Richards of Pittsburgh;Mrs.Louise Felder of New York;Miss Elizabeth Saunders of Monessen;and Mrs.Prudence Whitlock of New York.
