Lottie Stokes of 807 Heslep Ave.;Donora;died Wednesday;Jan.29;1975;at 5:35 p.m.in Charleroi Division of Mon Valley Hospital. She was 68. Born in Lynchburg;Va.;on May;22;1906;Mrs.Stokes had lived in Donora the past 30 years. She was a member of the Whole Truth Church of God in Christ where she was the mother of the church. Mrs.Stokes was the first official member of the church when it was founded 22 years ago. She was preceded in death by her husband;Archie Stokes;in 1954. Surviving are one son;James Williams of Donora;one daughter;Mrs.Virginia Cunningham of Pittsburgh;11 grandchildren;23 great-grandchildren;and one great-great-grandchild. Friends will be received at the Percy Law Funeral Home;Donora;after 7 p.m.Saturday and until 2:30 p.m.Sunday when the body will be removed to the Whole Church of God in Christ;First St.and Watkins Ave.;Donora;to lie in state until time of services on Monday at 11 a.m. Elder Maurice Wade will officiate.
