Obituary

Lorraine J. Steinmiller, 62, of Dunlevy, died Sunday, April 29, 2007 in Jefferson Regional Medical Center. A daughter of the late Herman F. Steinmiller and Marie Kelley Steinmiller, who survives and resides in Belle Vernon, she was born on August 5, 1944 in Leesville, LA. She was a member of the Christian Center Church of Belle Vernon and was a councilwoman for Dunlevy Borough. Lorraine had resided in Dunlevy for the past 20 years, had been employed in the accounts payable department of Guttman Oil Company for a number of years and volunteered for a Prayer Line for Cornerstone Television Ministries. In addition to her mother, survivors include two sons, James T. Harvey of Pensacola, FL and James D. Harvey of Dunlevy, one daughter, Patricia Murphy, a sister and brother-in-law, Donna and Edward Watts of Murfreesboro, TN, a brother and sister-in-law, Herman and Tiny Steinmiller of Salt Lake City, UT, four grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by one son, Harry Carpenter, in infancy. Friends will be received from 2 to 8 P.M. Wednesday in the Ferguson Funeral Home, Inc. and Cremation Service, a Golden Rule Member Firm (724-929-5300), 700 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon, www.fergusonfuneralhomeandcrematory.com. Funeral services will be in the funeral home on Thursday at 12 Noon with Pastor John Derrico, Jr. and Pastor Jeffrey Anthony co-officiating.
