Lori Sprowls-Staley; 45; of Pittsburgh; formerly of Charleroi; died Monday; Sept. 8; 2008; in UPMC Mercy; Pittsburgh. She was born in North Charleroi on March 21; 1963; the daughter of William Holzapfel; who survives and resides in Charleroi; and the late Mary Joyce Cook Holzapfel. In addition to her father; she is survived by her husband; Richard L. Staley; a brother; Myron D. Sprowls; of Charleroi; and by aunts; uncles and cousins. In addition to her mother; she was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents; Melvin and Katherine Cook; her paternal grandparents; Myron and Laverna Sprowls; one uncle; Robert Cook; and two special cousins; Kim Cook and Jay Torok. Friends will be received in the DALFONSO-BILLICK FUNERAL HOME INC. and CREMATION SERVICES; 441 Reed Ave.; Monessen (724-684-8750); on Friday; Sept. 12; from noon to 1 p.m.; at which time a Blessing service will be held in the funeral home with Father George Chortos; pastor of Transfiguration Roman Catholic Church in Monongahela; officiating.
