Loretta Jean Miller, 52, of Fairhope,Belle Vernon,died Sunday, June 1,1997,in St. Francis Hospital,Pittsburgh. She was born April 14,1945,in North Charleroi,a daughter of the late James H. and Ethel Kovatch Miller. She worked in the Brookvale clothing factory in Monessen for 20 years and the Johnny De Salon Furniture in Monessen. Survivors include her brother, James H. Miller Jr.of Belle Vernon;three sisters, Ethel Mae Scaccia of Charleroi,Marilyn June Kutcy of Belle Vernon and Ruth Ann Filardi of Fayette City R.D. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews,great-nieces and nephews; one great-great-niece and two great-great-nephews. Friends will be received in the Eley-McCrory Funeral Home Inc.,334 Main St.,Fayette City,on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday until 11 a.m.,the hour of service in the funeral home,with the Rev. John Park officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Eley-McCrory Funeral Home Inc.,is in charge of the arrangements.
