Obituary

Loretta Jane West Floyd, 77, of Monessen went  home to be with the Lord  March 5, 2017.  Born in Donora , Pa. March 11, 1939 to the late Jessee West and Hilda Crump Carter, Loretta was life long resident of the Mon Valley. In addition to her parents  she was predeceased by her husband; Rev. Robert Floyd, daughter Melody Floyd, and brother Marshall West.  Left to cherish Loretta's memory are daughters; Theresa Larkins of Texas, Veronica (Myles) Brisco of Monongahela, Angela (Allan) Ferretti of Monessen, Laurel Womack of Indiana, son: Robert (Sandy) Floyd Jr. of Monessen, Sister; Gloria Jean Carter, her grand children and great grand children along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and friends. Friends will be recieved Wednesday March 8, 2017 2:00 - 4:00 and 6:00 - 8:00 at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church 230 Reed Ave. Monessen, Pa. where a Homegoing Service will be held Thursday March 9, 2017  at 11:00 with Bishop Carl Jackson officiating.  Interment will be at Belle Vernon Cemetery.
