Loretta (Sergi) Cooper; 73; of Roscoe; formerly of Charleroi; died Sunday; May 3; 2009; in Mon Valley Hospital. She was born Aug. 6; 1935; in Belle Vernon; a daughter of the late Samuel and Lillian Sergi. Loretta was Catholic by faith. Surviving is one son; Stephen Michael (Lori) Sergi; of North Charleroi; two daughters: Beverly J. (Richard) Hect; of Flint; Mich.; and Christine A. (Bryan) Thybault; of Roscoe; two brothers: Joe Sergi; of Monessen; and Frank Sergi; of Missouri; one sister; Jenie Sergi; of Ohio; and nine grandchildren: Samantha; Cortney and Jacob Thybault; Jessica; Sherrie; Ricky and Mikey Hect; and Stephen and Derek Sergi. In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her husband; Marvin Cooper; five sisters: Lena; Kate; Marge; Pauline and Frances; and four brothers: Dave; Sam; James and Dominick. There will be no visitation; and interment will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements by the CARL J. SPALLINO FUNERAL HOME; Charleroi.
