Lois Virginia Bogdan; 70; of Charleroi; died Thursday; Oct. 2; 2003 in Mon Valley Hospital Inc. She was born in Roscoe on Sept. 22; 1933; the daughter of the late John Edward and Laura Mae Clark Otto. She was a former seamstress and a member of Christ Lutheran Church of Charleroi. Surviving are two sons; Nicholas G. Povrzenich Jr. of Charleston; S.C.; and John P. Povrzenich; of Arizona; two daughters; Paula J. Bogdan of Texas and Kathy D. Corley of Gaston; S.C.; four granddaughters; eight great-grandchildren; six step grandchildren; and 10 step great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her two grandchildren; Mark Wayne Povrzenich and Wendy Lee Povrzenich. Visitation will be held in Christ Lutheran Church from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday; Oct. 7; at which time a memorial service will be held with Pastor Beverley Banyay officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. In lieu of flowers; memorial contributions may be made to Christ Lutheran Church; 601 Washington Ave; Charleroi; 15022.
