Mrs.Peffer was born May 29;1919;in Charleroi;a daughter of the late Eli G.and Rose Waywood Shipley. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Charleroi. A retired employee of Corning Glass Works in Charleroi;Mrs.Peffer was a member of the Corning Glass Retirees. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son;Robert;in 1969. Survivors include her husband;Robert A.Peffer;a brother;Edwin Shipley of Fallowfield Twp.;and a sister;Mrs.Mildred Carroll of Charleroi. Friends will be received Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Schrock-Hogan Funeral Home;Inc.;226 Fallowfield Ave.;Charleroi;where services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. with the Rev.Gerald McCormick;pastor of First United Methodist Church of Charleroi;officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Schrock-Hogan Funeral Home;Inc.;is in charge of arrangements.
