Lois J. Lenhart; 86; of 804 Jane Avenue; Charleroi; died June 20; 2002; in Mon Valley Hospital. She was born May 28; 1916; in Brownsville; a daughter of the late Leslie L. and Elizabeth Jarrett Thompson. Mrs. Lenhart was a member of Speers United Methodist Church and the Fidelis Guild of the church. A homemaker and graduate of the Belle Vernon High School; she was a longtime resident of Belle Vernon and Charleroi. Survivors include two nephews; Richard Springer of Beach Haven; N.J.; and Jerome Magistrella and wife Joan of Clarion; one niece; Diane McCarty of Point. Pleasant; N.J.; one great-nephew; Quinn McCarty of Phoenix; Ariz.; two great-nieces; Eugenia McCarty Rendler and husband Devereaux of San Jose; Calif.; and Vickie Springer Adams and husband Richie of Levittown. In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her husband; Walter Lenhart; one brother; Harold Thompson; and two sisters; Ruth Thompson Springer and Edythe Thompson Magistrella. Graveside committal services will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery Thursday; July 18; at 2:30 p.m.; followed by a Memorial Service in Speers United Methodist Church at 3 p.m. with the Rev. Jeff St. Clair officiating.
