Lois A VonBergen; of Monessen; formerly of Warren; Ohio; died Feb. 10; 2004; after a long bout with cancer. She died peacefully at Matthews Presbyterian Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Lois was born in Belle Vernon on Sept. 20; 1939; the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Richard Fields. She was retired from Packard Electric in Warren; Ohio; and loved spending the winters in St. Petersburg; Fla. Lois was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years; Kenneth D. VonBergen. She is survived by her children; Ken; Lori and Bruce; all of Warren; Ohio; and Brian of Waxhaw; N.C.; one brother; Richard Fields of Belle Vernon; eight grandchildren; Heather; Rick; Kenny; Melody; Amber; Mike; Bruce and Kari; two great-grandchildren; Nevaeh and Bryson; and her stepfather; John Raymond of New Eagle. Friends will be received Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. in the ROBERT A. BILLICK FUNERAL HOME INC.; Grand Boulevard and Marion Avenue; Monessen. Funeral services will be held Saturday; Feb. 14; at 10 a.m. in the funeral home; followed by interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
