Mrs. Loella M. Johnston,age 46,R.D.1,Belle Vernon,died Tuesday,April 18,1950 at 3:40 p.m. in the Charleroi-Monessen hospital after a short illness. She was a member of the Episcopal Church, Charleroi. She is survved by her husband, Dana Johnston,two sons, George and Lawrence at home;one daughter, Mrs. Richard Baker of Butler; two sisters, Mrs. Nicholas Mavromatis of Belle Vernon and Mrs. Kay Warner of Erie. Friends are being received at the Melenyzer Funeral Home. Services will be held in St. Mary's Episcopal Church,Charleroi,Friday, April 21,1950,at 10 a.m.,in charge of Rev. Joseph N. Wittkofski. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Chas. L. Melenyzer is the funeral director.
