Lloyd Oscar Shawley;34;of Rockford;Illinois;formerly of Monessen;died in the Swedish-American Hospital of Rockford;Tuesday;December 4;1956;at 9 p.m. He was born in Monessen January 7;1922;and was a member of the Monessen Methodist Church. He was a veteran of World War Two. He is survived by his wife;Denise Kyle Shawley;three sons;LLoyd;Jerry and Denny;his parents;Mr.and Mrs.Benjamin Shawley of Webster;two brothers;Dale Shawley of Donora and William Shawley of Green Oak;and his paternal grandmother;Mrs.Frances Shawley of Monessen. Friends will be received at the Long Klontz Funeral Home in Rockford on Wednesday. The body will be brought to Belle Vernon;and friends will be received at the Ferguson Funeral Home after 7 p.m.Friday. Services will be held there Saturday;December 8;1956;at 2 p.m.;and interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Shelby D.Ferguson is the funeral director in charge.
