Lloyd Myron Dupree of New York City,N.Y.,formerly of Arnold City,died accidentally on his job in New York City on Friday,June 8,1984. He was 50. Mr. Dupree was born Sept. 5,1933,in Washington Twp.,Fayette County,a son of the late Purvey and Lenora Dupree. He was preceded in death by a son. Surviving are his wife, Mattie Thompson Dupree,of New York City,N.Y.;four brothers,David of Youngstown,Ohio,Sylvester and Harding,both of Arnold City,and Robert of Brooklyn,N.Y.;four sisters,Mrs. Cora Thrasher,Mrs. Rosa McCarthy,Mrs. Mary Ross,and Mrs. Geneva Calloway,all of Arnold City;and one aunt,Mrs. Blanche Cox,of Arnold City. Friends will be received at the Howard W. McCrory Funeral Home,Fayette City,Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m.,Thursday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.,and Friday until 1p.m. when services will be held in the funeral home with Bishop Thomas of Pittsburgh officiating. Interment will follow in the Belle Vernon Cemetery.
