Lloyd A.Guder;83;of 102 Florence Dr.;New Stanton;died Friday;June 15;at 12:03 a.m. at Greensburg Care Center;Greensburg. Born Aug.8;1917;in Pricedale;he was the son of the late Henry and Cora Mabel Gailey Guder. Mr.Guder was a resident of New stanton for the past 17 years;having previously resided in Youngwood and Belle Vernon. He was retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel;Allenport plant;where he worked as a steelworker. He was a veteran of World War II;having served in the U.S.Army;and was a member of the Belle Vernon American Legion Post 659. He is survived by s sister and brother-in-law;Kathryn and James Newbigging of Pontiac;Mich.;two nieces;Joyce Fought of New Stanton and Patricia Ream of Belle Vernon;and three nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife;Vivian Price Guder;who passed away Nov.29;1997;three sisters;Mildred Simons;Dolores Johnson and Anna Anderson;and two brothers;Harry Guder and Elmer Guder. Services will be held Saturday morning at the LEONARD J.PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME;family owned and operated;626 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;at 10:30 a.m.;with the Rev.Jeff St.Clair;pastor of Speers United Methodist Church;officiating. Interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
