Linda G. Camino; 66; of Belle Vernon; died Sunday; Feb. 12; 2006; at 5:05 p.m.; at Jefferson Regional Health System; Jefferson Borough. Born Dec. 28; 1939; in North Charleroi; she was a daughter of Anna Mascara Camino; of Rostraver Township; and the late Frank Camino. A lifelong resident of Rostraver Township; Mrs. Camino was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church; Belle Vernon. She attended Grove City College; graduated from California Teachers College; received her master’s degree from the University of Pittsburgh and then taught in the Belle Vernon Area School District as a reading specialist until her retirement in 1995. In addition to her mother; she is survived by a nephew; Jon Wasicek and wife; Michele; of Belle Vernon; three nieces; Elizabeth Moody and husband; Raymond; of Fayette City; Maggie Hurtt and husband; Eric; of Bel Air; Md.; and Kelly Wasicek; of Pittsburgh; a great-nephew and three great-nieces; Nicholas Wasicek; Jessica and Caroline Hurtt and Abigail Wasicek. She was preceded in death by her sister; Pati A. Wasicek; brother-in-law; Jan Lee Wasicek; and a nephew; David Wasicek. Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the LEONARD J. Prayer service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home; followed by funeral Mass at 11:30 a.m. in St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church with the Rev. Lawrence L. Manchas; V.F. pastor; as celebrant. Interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Members of St. Sebastian Parish will pray the rosary for the departed soul of Linda Camino at 3 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
