Linda D. McCullough Kistler, 69, of Coal Center, Long Branch, died Monday, Oct. 20, 2014, at 9 a.m. at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh. Born Dec. 13, 1944, in North Charleroi, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Helen M. Walkush McCullough. A resident of Long Branch for the past 44 years, Mrs. Kistler was Catholic by faith and a homemaker. Linda enjoyed spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren and enjoyed going to the Meadows with her loving husband. She is survived by her husband, Barry L. Kistler to whom she was married 27 years; two daughters and sons-in-law, Diana and Darryll Myers of Penn Township, and Lisa and Chris Shahan of Belle Vernon; four grandchildren, Jessica Myers, Dylan Myers, Ian Shahan, and Lily Shahan; two brothers, Clarence "Mac" McCullough of Houston and Robert D. McCoullough of Fredericktown; and two sisters, Helen Salisbury of Irwin and Barbara Moorehead of West Newton. She was preceded in death by three brothers, George McCullough, Edward McCullough and William McCullough. Visitation will be held Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2014, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATIONS, Family Owned and Operated, 626 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, 724-929-6183. Funeral services will be held Thursday at the Parzynski Funeral Home and Cremations at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Msgr. Roger A. Statnick, pastor, of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church officiating. Interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Members of St. Sebastian parish will pray the rosary for the departed soul of Linda Wednesday at 3 p.m. in the funeral home.
