Lillian t. Bronson,49,of 955 Alexander Ave., Monessen,died Monday,May 14,1990,in Mon Valley Hospital. she was born on June 24,1940,in Monessen,a daughter of the late Thomas and Marie Turnipseed. Mrs. Bronson was preceded in death by a brother,Robert Garry;a sister, Anne Gerry Marshall;and a grandson, Jeremy Bronson. She was a graduate of Monessen High School Class of 1958 and Douglas Business School. Mrs. Bronson was employed at Westinghouse Electric Company. She was a member of Union Baptist Church of Monessen where she served on the trustee board,missionary society,usher board,gospel chorus and as assistant church clerk. Mrs. Bronson was a member of Star of Bethlehem Chapter No.34 Order of Eastern Star,Prince Hall affilitation,and was past matron and treasurer. She was chariperson of education for the 11th Order of Eastern Star District and officer of the YWBA Usher Board. Survivors include her husband,William Bronson Jr.;one daughter, Amelia Grace of Monessen;two sons,William T.and Gary,both of Monessen;two grandchildren,Justin and William Bronson of Monessen;two brothers,Cornelius O'Beine of Canada and Claude Garry of Monessen;a sister-in-law,Myrna Gary of Monessen;and nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Union Baptist Church in Monessen. Eastern Star services will be held Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. at Union Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m.at Union Baptist Church with the Rev. Leslie Strader,pastor,officiating. Interment will be at Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Beverly C. Draper Funeral Home,608 6th St.,Monessen,is handling arrangements.
