Lewis S.Blackburn,aged 85 years,415 Graham street,Belle Vernon,died Saturday,Oct.27,1956 at 10:15 p.m.at his home,after a long illness.  ,He is survived by his wife,Mrs.Sarah Blackburn,two daughters,Mrs.Earl (Elsie) May,of North Charleroi,and Mrs.Benjamin (Alda) Aspy,of Okmulgee,Okla,,one sister,Mrs.George Cunningham,of R.D.Charleroi and two grandchildren.  ,He was a member of the Methodist Church of Charleroi,and was retired from the Allenport Plant of Pittsburgh Steel Co.  ,Friends are being received at the Toner Funeral Home,Broad Avenue,Belle Vernon,where visiting hours are from 1 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m.  ,Funeral services will be held from the funeral home Tuesday,Oct.30,1956,at 2:30 p.m.with Rev.William Schatz,pastor of the Methodist Church in Belle Vernon officiating.  ,Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.  ,Harold R.Toner,funeral director.
