Lewis B.McKeever;87;formerly of 707 1/2 Henry St.;Belle Vernon;died Saturday;April 26;1975;at 5:10 a.m.in the Aspinwall Veterans Administration Hospital;where he had been a patient since January. Born Dec.1;1887;in Rostraver Twp.;he was a son of the late Robert L.and Elizabeth Fisher McKeever. Mr.McKeever was a retired employee of the Monessen Plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp. He was an Army veteran of World War I. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Belle Vernon and the Belle Vernon American Legion. Mr.McKeever was preceded in death by his wife;Myra;in 1971. Surviving are one brother;Walter of Mansfield;Ohio;thrss sisters;Mrs.Martha Sauers of Cleveland;Ohio;Mrs.Inez Walters of Arlington;Va.;Mrs.Janet Mapel of Coraopolis;seven nephews and five nieces. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.on Sunday at the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home;700 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;where services will be held Monday at 1:30 p.m.with the Rev.R.Dawson Hopson;pastor of the First United Methodist Church of Belle Vernon;officiating. Interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
