Obituary

Levi Lemon,32,of 927 Henry St.,Belle Vernon,died Friday May 17,1957,at 11:22 a.m.at the Deshon Hospital,Butler,Pa. He was a member of the Antioch Baptist Church and served in the U.S.Army with the 78th Signal Heavy Construction Battalion during the war. He is survived by his parents,Mr.and Mrs.D.L.Lemon,with whom he made his home,four brothers,Matthew of Pricedale,John at home,George of Brownsville and Jerome with the U.S.Army,stationed in Hawaii,two sisters,Mrs.Lena Payne of Pittsburgh and Marie of Philadelphia. Friends will be received at the Draper Funeral Home,Sixth St.,until Sunday at 12 noon,when the remains will be taken to the late home. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday,May 21,at 1 p.m.at the Antioch Baptist Church,with Rev.A.C.Morris officiating. Interment will be in the Belle Vernon Cemetery.
