Lester Gerard Dopler,65,of 930 Fifth St.,Charleroi,died Friday,July 9,1965 in Charleroi-Monessen Hospital. Mr. Dopler was born in Evansville, Ind.,Jan. 4,1900,a son of the late John and Catherine Moeschel Dopler. He was a member of St. Jerome R.C.Church,Loyal Order of Moose and Belgian Club of Charleroi. He was a past honorary governor of Charleroi Lodge 103,Moose Chapter 25 Club,was past district governor of Western Division,District 10 of the Moose, was past North Moose,member of Legion of the Moose of Ft. Necessity 121,Fellowship Degree. He was a member of Charleroi Cooperative Association. A resident of Charleroi since his childhood,he was retired from American Steel and Wire,Donora. Surviving are his widow,Mary Lavery Dopler;a daughter,Donna Yuschak,of Charleroi;three brothers,Leo,of Monessen,John,of Mingo Junction,Ohio and Edward of Charleroi; a sister,Mrs. Kathryn McCraig of Canonsburg R.D. and two grandchildren. Friends are being received at the Francis C. Slezak Funeral Home,Charleroi,from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Funeral services will be held Monday,July 12,at 10 a.m. from St. Jerome R.C.Church,Charleroi,with the Rev. William Maher officiating at Requiem High Mass. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Francis C. Slezak,funeral director.
