Leslie W. Gauden; 50; of Fallowfield Township; Charleroi; passed away Saturday; Nov. 15; 2008; after a long battle with cancer; surrounded by his family and loved ones in his home. A son of Dorothy McCarty Shargots; who survives and resides in Belle Vernon; and the late Joseph Shargots; he was born Dec. 28; 1957; in Waynesburg. Leslie was an avid hunter and outdoorsman; enjoyed quad riding and loved spending time with his family. Formerly of Belle Vernon; he had resided in Fallowfield for the past 17 years. He was employed by the Coal Contracting Company of Belle Vernon and had worked at the former Supervalu for 26 years until its closing. Survivors; in addition to his mother; include his wife of 33 years; Karen Marchewka Gauden; two daughters and one son-in-law; Heather J. and George Parker; of West Newton; and Gail F. Gauden; of Fallowfield; one son; Lee J. Gauden; of Fallowfield; one sister and brother-in-law; Rebecca and Bill Frank; of Greensburg; one brother; Ed Gauden; of Rostraver; two grandchildren; Nathan and Nicholas Parker; and many nieces and nephews.
