LeRoy E.Minnie of Pricedale;died Friday Feb.11;1983;at 11:02 a.m.in Brownsville General Hospital following a lengthy illness. He was 69. Mr.Minnie was born Aug.18;1913;in Pricedale;a son of the late George and Matilda Phares Minnie. He was a retired coal miner. Mr.Minnie was a U.S.Army veteran of World War II and was a member of the Pleasant Green AME Church;Pricedale. He is survived by one brother;Robert Minnie;of Pricedale;one sister;Sylvia Minnie;of Pricedale;and one niece;Ann Minnie;of New York City;N.Y.Friends will be received in the Pleasant Green AME Church;Pricedale;after 4 p.m.Sunday and until 2 p.m.Monday when services will be held in the church;with the Rev.Bertha Sydnor;pastor;officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home;Fayette City;is in charge of arrangements.
